Officine On/Off

The coworking initiative Officine On / Off represents an innovative project spearheaded by the Youth Policy & Innovation Council of the Municipality of Parma. Developed and overseen by the Cooperative Social Onlus Group School in partnership with the Social Promotion On / Off Association, this initiative serves as a collaborative community fostering self-entrepreneurship in support of social and technological advancement.

Officine functions as a shared workspace where the diverse skills of freelancers, professionals, and small businesses are embraced and appreciated. Housing a digital manufacturing lab equipped with tools and machinery for prototyping and production, it serves as a versatile hub where individuals, organizations, and projects converge. Operating as a coworking space, a communal venue for community activities and initiatives, and a launchpad for project development, Officine welcomes teenagers and adults, freelancers, startups, and anyone seeking a space to realize their endeavors.

The coworking space at Officine offers educational and training opportunities for teenagers, as well as affordable, fully equipped workstations and extensive networking possibilities for young adults and professionals engaged in social innovation ventures. It provides a formal and informal network for engagement, and serves as an ideal location for corporations and businesses to host workshops, conferences, and events.

Accessible on a temporary or resident basis, Officine's collaborative coworking environment offers high-speed wifi, printing facilities, access to consultants for legal, tax, and commercial advice, and a kitchen for preparing snacks. Depending on membership type, individuals can access the space from 9am to 6pm on weekdays or enjoy 24/7 availability for those with round-the-clock work schedules.
