Located just a short distance from downtown, CRAFT is a space that can accommodate up to 40 crafters seated or 200 standing guests. The studio boasts an open concept layout that fosters creativity and offers easy access to a wide array of DIY tools and materials. For larger gatherings, the furniture can be reorganized to create ample space for socializing.

After years of storing craft supplies under her bed and making last-minute trips to the art store for specific materials, Eli Winkelman recognized a need in Austin for a place where individuals of all crafting levels could come together to create. She envisioned a welcoming environment, akin to a gym but for crafting, where instead of exercise equipment, there would be supplies like paint, glue guns, googly eyes, and wood scraps. People could drop in and work on their projects of choice, making it Austin's ultimate craft room.

This vision became a reality when CRAFT opened its doors in 2013, quickly establishing itself as a central hub in Austin for DIY crafting, workshops, and various events.
