A 90-year-old Portuguese villa has been transformed into a coworking space with an in-house café, known as Clay. The aim at Clay is to create a community of creative individuals who come together to collaborate, while also enjoying the peaceful and charming lifestyle of Goa.

Situated a mere 80 seconds away from Anjuna beach, this renovated property features a communal workspace with sixteen seats, as well as a separate meeting room that can double as a private office, depending on availability. For moments of relaxation and rejuvenation, guests can unwind in the lounge area, which primarily serves as the café space. Here, they can enjoy a good book along with a cup of freshly brewed tea or coffee, and delectable treats prepared with care by Chef Rishika Chengappa at Dough.Ho.

Designed to facilitate productivity, Clay is equipped with backup power, reliable internet connectivity, and a printer for added convenience. In addition to providing a conducive work environment, Clay also hosts intimate events and workshops on select days. Plans are underway to introduce a pottery station and weekly game nights where participants are encouraged to bring their own board games.

Operating hours at Clay are from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, offering flexible membership options including hourly (Rs.150/-), daily (Rs.600/-), weekly (Rs.2500/-), and monthly (Rs.7000/-) plans. Members can enjoy complimentary Bombay-style street chai and expertly crafted Americano or cappuccino, made from premium coffee beans sourced from Coorg, Bengaluru, India.
