About Chicago Connectory

The Chicago Connectory was established in May 2017 as a hub for the Internet of Things (IoT) community. The initiative to create a space where individuals in the IoT field could come together, collaborate, and access top resources for success was a joint effort between Bosch and 1871. The ethos of collaboration not only shaped the inception of the Chicago Connectory but continues to guide its daily operations.

Situated within the historic Merchandise Mart in Chicago, the facility spans approximately 20,000 square feet. Functioning as both a co-creation space and an IoT incubator, the Chicago Connectory offers state-of-the-art technology, robust security measures, specialized programming, and mentorship from industry leaders in IoT. Going beyond the typical co-working environment, the Chicago Connectory presents a co-creation model that emphasizes collaboration, networking, problem-solving, and innovative approaches to work in the era of connectivity.

Established through a partnership between Bosch and 1871, the Chicago Connectory serves as a platform for fostering an ecosystem in Chicagoland and the broader Midwest region. Together, 1871 and Bosch are driving advancements in IoT and working towards a more interconnected future.
