BEAHIVE Beacon

Inspired by the coworking and localism movements, BEAHIVE is a groundbreaking workspace that offers a shared and innovative environment for entrepreneurs, the creative class, microbusinesses, and consultants in the Hudson Valley area. Beyond just a workspace, it serves as a vibrant community of members striving to enhance their professional and personal lives while contributing to the local community.

Driven by the vision of dynamic, diverse, and inclusive Hudson Valley communities, BEAHIVE aims to support a sustainable, locally-rooted, and human-scale economy. Established in May 2009 on Beacon's Main Street in the iconic Telephone Building, the flagship hive was relocated in June 2023 to a completely renovated 4,000 sq ft space nearby.

As pioneers in the coworking movement, BEAHIVE has utilized its extensive experience to create a welcoming, productive, and collaborative workspace for members to work, connect, and socialize. The flagship location features an open communal lounge with abundant natural light and a kitchen facing Eliza St, providing a comfortable setting for meetings, events, and networking.

In addition to the communal areas, BEAHIVE offers 14 private offices, known as resident studios, and a desk den with 10 resident desks, all featuring large windows for natural light. Over the years, BEAHIVE has attracted members from various towns in the Hudson Valley region, including Newburgh, Fishkill, Cold Spring, Cornwall, Garrison, Wappingers Falls, Pawling, and Poughkeepsie.
