ACMI X, a state-of-the-art office spanning 2,000 square meters in Melbourne's arts precinct, was created by award-winning architects Six Degrees, marking a pioneering initiative by an Australian museum.

Established to offer a workspace for Melbourne's creative professionals, ACMI X is a fresh co-working environment that brings together a diverse community of filmmakers, digital and visual artists, digital producers, web developers, screenwriters, and designers. Exclusively catering to individuals, groups, and businesses involved in the moving image sector, the space promotes a creative ethos centered on collaboration, innovation, and sustainability.

ACMI X offers two membership options:

- Industry Membership ($30 per month) with a $39 per day Hot Desk access from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday
- Resident Membership ($600 per month) providing a dedicated desk accessible 24/7
